Hello everyone. I'm a dedicated Flight Simulator enthusiast who spends a lot of time on the simulator. Like many others, I started with the Airbus A320neo, which is the base product of the sim and managed to learn my way through it. With no prior knowledge (and without watching any videos), it was quite a steep learning curve.
Edit: I had to add this detail. Although I tried Flight Simulator many years ago, I only began taking it seriously after watching one of the Mayday: Air Disaster investigations, where the pilots were incapacitated and a flight attendant asked if any of the passengers knew how to fly the plane. I thought, "What if I were in that position?" That moment sparked my passion to learn, and it's a passion that continues to drive me today.

Eventually, I learned the ropes and got my hands on FlyByWire's A320, which truly enhanced the experience. That’s when I began taking the sim more seriously and started watching tutorial videos and experimenting further.

After mastering the A320, I decided to switch to Boeing’s planes, something I never thought I’d do after getting so comfortable with Airbus. I initially tinkered with the PMDG B737-900ER but quickly shifted to the PMDG B777-300ER, which has since become my absolute favorite to fly.

I tend to undertake long, late-night flight hauls. A typical flight plan might be from places like Anchorage or Houston to Frankfurt, Zurich, or parts of Asia. My last flight was from KIAH (Houston) to RJTT (Tokyo) in the 777-300ER, a smooth, great experience.
I often notice other sim pilots along the way and try to see if they have any social profiles linked to their names. You might see the handle “xmrst” flying around; if you do, that's me. Feel free to add me, my gamer tag is xmrst#1750. I'll be sharing some of my flight sim journeys on this blog, along with other content.
